A well established company located in the POS area is looking to recruit a Human Resource Officer with the following experience and qualification:-

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

• Tertiary education in Human Resources or related field
• Minimum of 3-5 years experience as a HR Officer
• High Initiative & Follow through skills
• Strong Leadership skills and exceptional maturity levels
• Team Leader with excellent communication skills
• Knowledge in the use of MS Office applications

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for developing and implementing company’s HR Business Strategy
• Provides administrative support and ensures the compilation, preparation, verification and subsequent filing of correspondence and reports
• Ensures the preparation of Interview files, welcome packages and track all new employees induction and orientation to completion
• Conduct Leave verification and auditing, reporting and tracking as required in keeping in with policy
• Accurately prepares and submits monthly, quarterly and annual HR reports as required.
• Inputs and verifies HR-related information into HRIS as required
• Training and Development of employees
• Compensation planning, succession planning and
• Dealing with labour law compliance and IR matters and all other HR matters.

REMUNERATION:

Salary range: TT$7,000 – TT$9,000

Port-of-Spain area is looking to recruit a Purchasing Assistant.

QUALIFICATIONS/RELATED SKILLS

– Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar position
– Diploma in Purchasing or Certificate
– Strong organizational & team-player skills required
– Oral and written communication skills
– Proficient in Microsoft Office
– Good time management skills
– Experience in Sap or Great Plains

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
– Prepare invoices and purchase orders for imports and export
– Manage Foreign and local suppliers
– Prepare monthly IAS reports and other reports related to stock
– Check invoices against purchase orders before sending to customs to process
– Close off purchase orders once stock is received
– Laise with suppliers regarding problems affecting purchase orders and deliveries.
– Prepare reports for the Ministry of Health about controlled drugs and report issues to the company and agents
– Laise with suppliers regarding credit and debit and communicate with respective departments
– Report to Brand Manager in regards to issues affecting stock availability

Salary: $4,500 – $5,500

A well known company in the Port-of Spain area is looking to recruit an ambitious qualified accountant with relevant post qualified experience who is seeking the challenge of working in a fast paced environment.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
 A minimum of 4 years experience in direct supervisory/management of staff
 Fully qualified Accountant
 Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
 Degree in Accounting or Business
 Fully ACCA/ACA qualified
 Must have worked in an internal audit department doing internal audit reviews.
 Proficient in Microsoft Office
RESPONSIBILITIES:
 Must be able to travel extensively within the Caribbean and other locations (75% of travelling)
 Prepare audit reports and management letters
 Effective communication and strong analytical skills
 Review the company’s internal control environment through the performance of financial and operational internal audits
 Responsible for Group Internal Auditors
 Maintain and evaluate the procedures and policies to ensure reliability and integrity of information
 Maintain company’s goals and objectives in safeguarding of assets
 Able to present findings to senior audit management and to recommend cost reductions and improvements
 Able to interpret audit procedures and techniques
 Ability to detect new risks within a changing environment

Salary: Negotiable

Qualifications:

· First Degree in related areas such as Management or Engineering.

And /or

· Technical training and Certificate combined with experience in related areas.

Experience:

· Five (5) years experience within the printing production industry.

· Supervisory Skills.

Must be willing to work shift

PRODUCTION SHIFT MANAGER

A key client within the food industry is looking to recruit a qualified Production Shift Manager. The ideal candidate should have the following:

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
• A minimum of 3-5 years experience managing the Production area of a food manufacturing company
• First degree in Engineering in either Mechanical/Industrial/Process or related engineering discipline.
• Proven team leading/ motivating skills an asset.
Must be able to work shift.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Ensure that production targets are achieved in an effective manner on all shifts
• Prepare shift roster
• Liaise with maintenance personnel on shift to determine root cause if breakdown occurs
• Ensure all production lines start on time with maximum output and minimum scarp on all lines
• Ensure all employees comply with factory rules and H&S guidelines
• Prepare shift reports/ shift rosters and monitor timekeeping and absenteeism
• Handle employee complaints on shift and report matters to Manager
• Ensure that oven speeds and machine speeds in both mixing and packaging are at the standard settings for product.
• Monitor all employees’ performances to ensure that production targets are achieved.

Salary: $12,000-15,000

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

• Ensure employee’s duties are carried out in a safe and efficient manner in order to improve the performance of electrical equipment
